Bug Fixes & Performance Improvements
This week, we continued to focus on adding polish, improving usability, and fixing bugs.
Other Improvements
  • Enhanced the text editing capabilities in Client Info on the close page and in the Chrome Extension.
  • Tightened up formatting in the Capacity Planning reports for easier scanning and greater readability.
  • Added the ability to search filters on clients, users, and properties in the All Timers report.
  • Added the ability to sort ascending/descending on any columns on the All timers report.
  • Added the ability to filter clients and properties on the client reporting page in Time Tracking.
  • Added the ability to filter employees and properties on the employee reporting page in Time Tracking.
  • Added the ability to add timers from the timers drilldown in the "Your timers" table.
  • Added the ability notify your client directly when responding to a non-transaction question in the upgraded portal.
  • Users can now cmd + click to open workflow links in a new tab from the close page.
Bug Fixes
  • Fixed a bug where contacts were not auto-populating when emailing clients.
  • Fixed a bug causing issues when pasting images into emails.
  • Fixed a bug where contacts encountered a “Something went wrong” error when logging into the portal.
  • Fixed a bug where sent emails did not appear in email history.
  • Fixed a bug where the selected email template did not load in the email draft until closing and trying again.
  • Fixed a bug causing an error when adding an email address to a vendor: “There was an error while saving the vendor.”
  • Fixed a bug where January 2025 tasks were incorrectly showing as overdue on the Client List.
  • Fixed a bug where users were unable to edit email templates.
  • Fixed a bug where NEC vendors were downloading into the MISC template for Track 1099.
  • Fixed a bug where tasks incorrectly displayed as overdue when they were not.
  • Fixed a bug where comments were not working on posted transactions.
  • Fixed a bug where the “Download CSV” option for the default view did not appear.

  • Fixed a bug where “Add to Memo” allowed the same memo to be added multiple times because the button was not disabled in the popover.

  • Fixed a bug where users were unable to connect clients to QBO.
  • Fixed a bug causing a Meg Ryan error when clicking into an account reconciliation task, crashing the account load.
  • Fixed a bug where a client’s question was removed when marking the question from “Resolved” to “Waiting on You.”
  • Fixed a bug where the embedded link text box did not populate outside of client notes.
  • Fixed a bug causing an error when trying to duplicate a default task template.
  • Fixed a bug where the Country Code was blank for some QBO clients.
