Tax workflow suite

Our tax workflow suite is live! The tax suite is designed to be familiar and intuitive, while providing your team with tax-specific functionality - like integrated Trial Balances and client organizers - to make tax season smoother and more efficient.

The tax suite is included in your subscription if you have a minimum of 20 connected clients. To enable it for your practice, contact your Customer Success Manager or sales@keeper.app.

Other Improvements

Users can now rename Client Properties after they have been created.
Moving a file to a vendor now auto-publishes the file to QBO.
Simplified the flow for resetting the client portal password.
Added the year to timestamps in client questions and responses.
We now auto-select the next question in the list after marking a question as resolved.
We now prevent the support button from overlapping with the post transaction button.
We added colors to non-transaction question tags in the upgraded portal.
We made the text box in client question responses dynamically expand vertically so it's easier to read and feels more natural while typing.
We continued to upgrade our text editor across the app.

Bug Fixes

Fixed a bug where users were not receiving notifications for vendor uploads.
Fixed a bug where the portal button on the tax return page was not clickable for unconnected clients.
Fixed a bug in Canada where receipt dates were defaulting from MM/DD to DD/MM format.
Fixed a bug where the font size was inconsistent for specific columns in the Transaction Files table.
Fixed a bug where not all pages of P&L detail were included in the portal PDF.
Fixed a bug where the close page picker did not reload properly after use.
Fixed a bug where bulk updating the split after bulk updating the description caused a rendering error in the description column.
Fixed a bug causing “Reconnect QuickBooks” messages on all files, leading to saving issues.
Fixed a bug where issues occurred when updating vendors in the File Review reports.
Fixed a bug where links were broken in client details.
Fixed a bug where only one file downloaded when attempting to bulk download multiple files.
Fixed a bug where hidden non-closing task sections did not remain hidden.
