Payer Information in Tax1099 Export
You can now add payer information in your clients' 1099 reports for easy reference. The payer information will also automatically be included in your Tax1099 exports, reducing the time you have to spend manually updating spreadsheets and making 1099 filings even faster.
Tax Suite Improvements
- Users can now filter the client list by tax return status in the Tax Returns view.
- Organizer published and completed dates are now available in the activity log.
Other Improvements
- Tags are now available to use for month-end closing tasks and tax tasks, in addition to custom tasks.
- Users can now rename the Prepare 1099s report
- If a client contact requests a magic link or requests a password email reset link while our email provider is temporarily down, we'll send the requested links from auth@accountingclientportal.com to avoid disruptions and delays.
- Client metrics are now available to all practices on the client list, including revenue, gross profit, and net income metrics pulling from your clients' ledgers.

- Fixed a bug where users kept receiving “reconnect email” emails weekly.
- Fixed a bug where users were receiving client digest notification emails at an archived email address.
- Fixed a bug where archived tax clients appeared on the client list regardless of the practice setting.
- Fixed a bug where updates to saved views in the client list were not saving.
- Fixed a bug where labels on a list displayed the question types instead of the question titles.
- Fixed a bug where “Slide body will go here” appeared as the title slide on the mobile app.
- Fixed a bug where organizers were not showing up in the client portal app under ‘action required.’
- Fixed a bug where date sorting refreshed after saving a non-transaction question response.
- Fixed a bug causing a 400 error message when posting a transaction file question to the portal.
- Fixed a bug where questions incorrectly showed as “waiting on vendor” when they were actually “waiting on client.”
- Fixed a bug where the Client Communication filter did not pull in “client responded” when checked.
- Fixed a bug causing slow loading times when working in the Receipts/Uploads Inbox.
- Fixed a bug where an “Error loading transfer account info, please contact us” message appeared when going to the client close page (affecting both connected and unconnected clients).
- Fixed a bug where recurring questions did not go out as scheduled.
