Templates 2.0 Beta

We just rolled out a major new upgrade to how Templates work in Keeper.

You can now choose which sections show up in a template (so you can have a “payroll” template that only includes the payroll section).
Project and Close templates have now been unified into Task Templates, so all templates live in one place.
You can now apply templates by property (so you can apply your e-commerce templates to just your e-commerce clients).
You can now add multiple templates at one time when adding new clients. You can also preview what your close page will look like before adding them.
You can add preparer/reviewer/manager roles when adding a client.
We added a “copy last used settings” option for quickly adding multiple clients with the same settings.
We fixed the periodic saving errors you may have experienced while creating or editing templates.

Templates 2.0 is now in beta - you can join the beta here.

Receipts Improvements

Added arrows in the top right-hand corner to let users go to the next / previous receipts.
If the user modifies the tax or amount values, a label will show the original "per receipt" value.

Other Improvements

Users can now add footnotes to their Management Reports from the Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet in the Final Review.
Improved error messaging for authentication failures in the Client Portal.
You can now immediately start typing your comment after clicking open a comment box.

Fixed a bug preventing users from asking questions about some files in the Client Uploads Inbox.
Fixed a bug that caused the "ready" count to show up incorrect on one client's transaction questions.
Fixed a bug causing crashing when accessing the close page.
Fixed a bug causing receipt notes to be hidden.
Fixed a bug preventing users from moving some files.
Fixed a bug causing some tasks to show up as due in 1924.
Fixed a bug that caused some recurring questions not to post when they were scheduled.
Fixed a bug preventing users from enabling the daily task digest email if they had disabled it.
Fixed a bug preventing users from being created with non-US phone numbers.
Fixed a bug causing errors when trying to delete non-closing task tags.
Fixed a bug causing the reconnection modal to appear on some Xero clients that did not need to be reconnected.
