Save time and maintain consistency with Accrual Presets
Managing accruals in Double just got even faster. With accrual presets, you can now standardize how your firm handles asset depreciation and amortization - reducing repetitive work and ensuring everyone on your team follows the same approach.
Work faster:
Set up your preferred configurations once, then apply them to new accruals with a single click.
Stay consistent:
Ensure all team members use the same asset types, methods, and accounts across clients.
Reduce errors:
Eliminate the risk of misconfiguring accruals by encoding your firm's standards into the workflow.
Onboard with confidence:
New staff can immediately follow your firm's best practices without needing to memorize configuration rules.
Define reusable asset type presets in client settings (type, duration, depreciation method, expense account, etc.). When creating a new accrual, select your preset from a dropdown to auto-fill all fields - or adjust values as needed for special cases.
Find the new Settings button in any client's Accruals tab to get started.

Other Improvements
  • Organizers can now be moved to an archived state, allowing you to move completed organizers out of your active queue and keeping your client list focused and action-oriented.
  • Client notes now auto-save, allowing you more flexibility to pause, navigate around the app, and confidently return to your work.

  • Fixed a bug where emails sent from practice in the latest month were incorrectly filtered into a historical date section.
  • Fixed a bug where journal entry matches did not show transaction information.

  • Fixed a bug where marking a linked close task as “Done” from the Inbox marked the entire close as done.
