Bank Feeds/ Uncategorized Improvements

I really appreciate all this feedback John! We are working on a number of improvements to the connections process, load times, and overall design (e.g. creating new COAs during the connection process)

5) Some of our client's bank accounts seamlessly connect to QBO but fail 3rd party user rights in Keeper and reject connection. Ideally all bank accounts could be connected in Keeper just as easily & successfully as QBO but that just isn't the case. In a wider conversation, the whole Keeper bank connection just isn't yet as well designed as QBO and is at times to frustrating for me to establish so I don't dare yet try and request my clients to do so. I saw an idea that the client could potentially be able to do so on their app. I like the idea but in truth our firm currently does not recommend (or at times even mention) the app because it's just not there yet.

4) "Multiple possible matches" issues. We have clients that are purely cash accounting so there aren't any bills or invoices to "match". Yet it tries to anyways and suggest matching bank transaction deposits to other same amount bank transaction deposits that are genuinely just 2 different transactions

3) Keeper bank feeds take forever to load, if they even load at all sometimes. Especially for accounts recently installed sometimes it fails outright to bring in transactions available to be categorized

2) The way this system is currently designed it seems like it is a forced choice to have uncategorized reside either solely in QB or solely in Keeper (and revoke the other) in order to avoid categorization duplicates for the same dates. This is because the uncategorized do not communicate between the two softwares, ideally I could categorize in both keeper and QB and not have to choose. I want to use Keeper bank feeds but it certainly isnt built out enough yet to replace QBO because i.e. all our Rules live in QBO without a home in keeper. If QBO uncategorized and Keeper uncategorized could communicate that would be ideal. Also if we could import our QBO rules into keeper instead of starting oveer.

1) When connecting a new bank it would be nice if we could create a new account in the COA during the connection process. We added a whole new bank account that had not yet been created in QB and we had to cancel the connection process, create the account in QB COA, and then reengage the connection process in order to successfully match. Ideally we could create a new account in COA within the bank connection process
