Custom Automated Email Reminders

Be able to set up recurring automated emails to clients to remind them of things they need to do prior to month end. Bonus points if it can have variable triggers for the email to go out (date, dollar amount exceeded, etc)

Tyler Otto – the way we're thinking of handling this is by adding an option to notify your clients about new Recurring Questions. Thoughts?

I like this. I came here to suggest the ability to customize email reminders by client. I have some clients that need to be reminded 2-3x per week and others that don't want/need more than one email per month. I would also LOVE the ability to assign who within a company receives the auto reminder emails.

Any update on this? We would love to be able to add recurring report delivery to our clients. We work on tight timelines and have reports auto-emailed to our clients in QBO, but we'd rather send them through Keeper. If we could automatically publish monthly reports AND send an email to the clients, that would be so helpful

Now that we have the ability to schedule out emails, it would be really helpful to be able to set recurring emails.
Example: Monthly email requesting bank statements and directing the client to the Non-Transaction questions in the portal where they can upload the files.

Yes, I have the recurring question in the portal for statements but my client would like the statement requests to be emailed to them on the 1st of every month. Currently that is a manual process. It would be really helpful to schedule those out ahead of time.

I need to be able to request bank statements after the statement closes. That date differs with each client. Please add the option for a monthly reminder to go out on the date of the month, ie. the 5th of every month.

This would be great! And having due dates on these questions might help. For example, a recurring question that generates on the 1st of the month, with a due date of the 4th for a statement request. Then Keeper could filter the email based on that due date (i.e. "You have 2 questions due this week")

We run different bookkeeping timelines. So the ability for this type of scheduling to also be client specific is very important to us.

Yes! If there were a way to only automatically send out the recurring questions and NOT send out weekly reminders, that would be ideal. It would be awesome if you could customize the client reminders setting.

We work on specific clients on certain days of the week, so right now the email reminders can be set to go out on a specific day but that doesn't work if we pick Friday and the Thursday client just got their email the day before. So automated email specific to the client would be ideal.

I agree with Tyler in a way. I want to have an auto email sent to notify them to check the non-transaction questions. The recurring question is for statements, docs, etc. that we need for the close, ASAP.
