Yes!
Currently, if we need to update a client contact’s email address, the only option is to remove the contact and add a new one. Unfortunately, when we do that, any answers they gave in the portal no longer show their name—it just says the response is from “unknown.”
In contrast, when a firm member is removed from Keeper, their name still displays on past comments or questions (comments show "deleted" after their name, and portal questions just list their name), which helps preserve important context.
Ideally, we’d like two improvements:
- The ability to edit client contact email addresses without deleting and recreating them.
- If a client contact is removed, their name should still appear on past activity instead of being replaced with "unknown."
In summary: Deleted team members and deleted client contacts should behave the same way—their names should remain visible with an indicator they've been removed. This would help us maintain a clear audit trail and avoid confusion when reviewing client history.
