Ready for Review status on tasks

When i have new team members working on a client, I'd want a way to manage the review of those tasks, rather than them marking it as complete.
I'd love if it would be possible on a "Per-Client" basis (via a checkbox setting), if we could limit the Prepare to only be able to mark items as "ready for review" and then the "Reviewer" would be the only personal able to mark a task as "Done". I could see the benefits from a QA perspective.

Ben Stein It'd be great if this "ready for review" status kept the time-stamped balance that was implemented recently with the "done" status. That way the reviewer could easily see what the balance was at the time of the preparer marked it as ready for review.

Tyler Otto – do you want this on the task level or the entire close? I ask because we are working on Close Level Statuses: https://keeperapp.canny.io/feature-requests/p/close-level-status

Ben Stein: I think at the close level will be very helpful and i'm excited to see that's already in your map.... but there is a part of me that would love to be able to track which items my newbies have done that i have reviewed, and which I haven't reviewed yet.... This would mean at the task level. My thought on how it would look is that is would just be another option on "Task Status", but the new people on that client couldn't mark it as "Done", just "Ready for review"....
But i could see how this might open up a programming can of worms.
Not a deal breaker, but I think it could be useful

Ben Stein: Hello! I want to second this feature request. For example, our month end process requires more than one person review the income statement and balance sheet. It looks like that task can currently only be assigned to one person and marked complete. I'd like a 'reviewed' or 'ready for review' option that the first person can choose, then the final person can change it to 'Done' after her review.

Kevin Butler: Makes sense, thanks!

Ben Stein: This would be awesome if this task status could be set to notify the designated team member the same way a close status does (if it's not already in your plans)! So you can mark the task "ready for review" and notify the reviewer
