For example, currently a client is only able to provide a KBA signature for Form 8879 if they pass an identity verification, but if they are unable to pass the verification process the client is now unable to sign the document.

In the event a client is unable to pass the verification process, a client should have the ability/option to download the document. That way they can print the document, sign, and then provide the firm with a scanned copy of the signed form 8879.
