"Start Timer" Button V2

In version 2 of the "Start Timer" popup window, I'd love to have two upgrades in the future.
- The ability to add time manually. Whether that be by a start and end time, or better yet, by being able to say "30 Min", "1.5 Hrs", ".005 Fortnight" (Okay, maybe not that last one).
- It would be great if at the bottom of that popup, it showed our last 5 time entries, in case we need/want to edit them (ie, mark them billable, adjust the end time because we forgot to clock out, edit the note attached, correct the client it's tracked to, etc)

I LOVE this idea and would like to add - change workstream to the tasks and have them auto populate by client that is chosen! I want to track time by task. I'm not sure why you would want a work stream that is outside a task? I can understand possibly having a "misc" task/workstream for some situations but we could create a monthly task for misc so we could track under that.

I'd like a note to be required if the timer is edited/time added manually. And the ability to edit without going to the different screen would be so helpful if we forget to start the timer!

Tyler Otto – I think (2) is really interesting; are you aware that you can do (1) from the Timers table on the Time Tracking page?

Ben Stein: Yeah, I think i'm looking for a bit more convenience. While you are in the client working on things, and you realize you're not currently clocked in, it takes time to hop out of the client, go to time tracking, add the manual entry, then come back, take 5-15 seconds to load the screen, etc.... It is just enough time to slightly throw you off your groove. If we could make those edits from the time button, it would be much more convenient.
HOWEVER, i greatly appreciate that we can manually add time after the fact in the manner you mentioned.

Tyler Otto: Great, thanks Tyler!

Tyler Otto: Ben Stein I'm all about this. I never get my time right and am always correcting it, and it is cumbersome. Also - there are several people working at the same time as me, it is hard to find my previous entries, so the (2) thing is important to me.

Cheryl Lanahan: moving this to In Progress actually :)
