Would be great to be able to create a close for YE instead of just going from December to January. There are separate YE tasks to be tracked after December task are completed.

Yes. It would be nice to be able to send a separate set of annual reports instead of having to include an annual income statement with December.

I think having the ability to add a separate "close" for both quarters and Year End would be incredibly helpful.

I agree! A work-around that I've been using this year is this:

I created a non-closing Custom Section called Year End. Then I created a Template of year-end tasks in that Section and then assigned that template to all of my clients.

Cathy Czerkie We did the same. Also I added a checklist for each client and listed specific items that need to be reviewed for that client.

Cathy Czerkie We did this too, but now its getting weird when we still have open year-end things and we are moving into a January Close. Its just messy and I am still tracking a lot of things in a spreadsheet because its not easy to see the way it is set up now.
