Yes, please! I want to be able to create sections - one for weekly tasks, one for quarterly, one for annually. Would be great to have that all under one section instead of increasing my number of sections - plus the other sections do not allow for a weekly or quarterly frequency.

Yes! I would love the ability to add non-closing sections. Right now all my non closing tasks are in this section and while they all have deadlines some tasks are just my internal deadlines that can be missed. Then there are payroll and tax filings that have hard deadlines. I want to be able to see from the dashboard when items are in the hard deadline category.

I'd love to be able to have two sections for Non-Closing Tasks: one for tasks that have solid deadlines and one for tasks that are ad hoc and may take time to close out. When looking at my All Client List view, I like to know that my weekly tasks like AR, AP, Sales Tax filings, etc that have important due dates are all handled, but I often use this space for ad hoc tasks, client emails that need response, or other things that might drag on for some time, and having these jumbled together makes my brain constantly think I've missed doing something with an important deadline.

Agreed, having the ability to add "sections" to non closing tasks that can have some of the same features (recurring variations, etc) would be very helpful in managing the day to day activities of a client, not just the month end.

You're probably already contemplating this, but just in case, I'll mention that the custom sections should have the ability to define the frequency. For example, I would like to customize a section for year end tasks, but I don't want them to show up in the client's close until their start date. I would need to create the section once and apply it across clients. I would assume things like tax filings and payroll would have the same needs: customized frequency and ability to apply in bulk across clients. For now I'm going to use Project Templates to create non-close tasks for year-end, but I'm thinking the customizable section might be a better place for year end tasks. I'm a new user, so if this isn't the right application for what I'm trying to do, just let me know. Thanks!
